Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Pammula Journal of Nursing Practice & Innovation (PAMMULA-NPI) undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure an objective and unbiased evaluation.
Each submission is initially assessed by the editorial team for its relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, originality, ethical compliance, and adherence to author guidelines. Manuscripts that pass this screening are then reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on scientific quality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, ethical considerations, and contribution to nursing practice and innovation. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial decision may include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.
The Editor-in-Chief holds final responsibility for all publication decisions. PAMMULA-NPI ensures that the peer review process is conducted transparently, fairly, and in accordance with the principles of COPE and DOAJ.
